First Impressions
I have finally selected the material for the blinds in the living room/ dining/ kitchen. That was a tough choice but I love what I have chosen. They should be ready in a month and the the old air conditioning unit in the main window has been removed and the window repaired. Pics to follow soon.
Project front door has commenced. HD has started fixing the front weatherboards that needed replacing and we are choosing exterior colors.
We have the original 1940's front door in our garage that I would like to clean up and put back. The door has a laced iron fly screen. My 85 year old neighbour had it in her garage for years. A previous owner of this house gave it to her husband and she returned it to us. It's very beautiful.

Pretty in Pink
I was watching a recent home renovation program where the family in the three bedroom house had the two children share a room and the third bedroom then became a play room. I really like the idea, however not too sure I can sacrifice my daughters very pink bedroom

Blinds, Borders and Fabric
Some ideas for my kitchen and living room windows. I'm finding it tricky to decide what window dressing to use because it's such a large space with so many windows. I'd love to use a pretty floral in the kitchen and something sleek and sophisticated in the living/ dining room, but I want it keep it cohesive. Too many gorgeous choices.

Beautiful Bedrooms
And so we are well and truly in the throws of the silly season. I must confess I was a little the worst for wear yesterday after too many glasses of vino in the sun on Sunday and spent the entire day praying for it to end so I could get to my bed last night
Doubtful it will be the first or last of these long days this holiday season,
and so some gorgeous bedrooms to get us through...

An Aussie Christmas Lunch
I guess I had better start thinking about planning Christmas lunch. I can't believe we've only two weeks left till Christmas.
I adore this table setting above and the use of table runners.
So far we are having lunch outside on the deck, that is depending on the Melbourne weather which could go either way.
Seafood's on the menu and plenty of bubbles. Mangoes and prawns. Pavlova and strawberries.
Good friends and Family
Then hopefully, it will all fall into place...with a bit more planning!
